What is this, actually?

A mobile app for lifad.world. You get band profiles, tour dates, releases, member pages and a news feed in one app instead of scattered across ten browser tabs. iOS and Android.

Where do I get the app?

Available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play. iOS and Android, both free.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The app is free. There's no shop inside the app — vinyl and merch are bought directly from the bands, we just redirect you there.

Which devices are supported?

iOS 16 or newer, Android 10 or newer. Also runs on iPad and Android tablets, but the layout is tailored to phones for now. Tablet version comes later.

Which languages is the app in?

German and English — both written natively, not auto-translated. You can switch anytime in settings. Most content is identical across languages; some editorial pieces appear in one language first.

Terms of Use — Sehnsucht App

§1Scope

These terms govern your use of the website sehnsucht.lifad.world (the "website"), operated by Gerhard Grunewald, c/o IP-Management #6936, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany ("we", "us").

By accessing the website you accept these terms in their current version. Different or supplementary terms of yours do not apply unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

The website provides editorial and promotional information about the Sehnsucht mobile application. No contracts of any kind are concluded on this website. Downloading the app itself takes place exclusively via the Apple App Store and Google Play under the respective platform's terms.

§3Use of the website

The website may be used free of charge for private and non-commercial purposes. You may not:

circumvent any technical security measures of the website
impair the availability or performance of the website (e.g. by automated mass requests)
scrape, mirror or republish content without our written consent, beyond what is permitted by applicable copyright law
use the website for unlawful purposes or to transmit malicious code

§4Intellectual property

All content on this website — including texts, graphics, screenshots, mockups, illustrations, source code and the underlying design system — is protected by copyright. The names "Sehnsucht", "lifad" and "lifad.world" as well as the associated logos are protected marks of the operator.

Quoting individual passages with proper attribution is permitted within the limits of applicable copyright law. Any further use — in particular reproduction, distribution, public communication or modification — requires our prior written consent.

Third-party trademarks (Apple, App Store, Google, Google Play and others) belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification purposes.

We endeavour to keep the website continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical malfunctions or force majeure may temporarily restrict access. We assume no liability for resulting damages, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.

The content of this website has been compiled with the greatest possible care. We do not, however, guarantee the accuracy, completeness or topicality of the content provided. Use of the website is at your own risk.

We are liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damages from injury to life, body or health, and according to mandatory provisions of the German Product Liability Act. For damages caused by slight negligence we are only liable in the event of a breach of an essential contractual obligation, and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
